For soccer fans in Houston, Brian Ching needs little introduction.

A Houston Dynamo legend, three-time MLS Cup champion, and former U.S. Men's National Team forward, Brian has helped shape the history of professional soccer in our city.

Now, he is bringing his experience, leadership, and passion for player development to an exciting new chapter in Northeast Houston soccer.

His involvement represents an important milestone for Endavant FC as we work to create additional opportunities for talented young athletes to pursue their dreams.

What Brian Ching's Role Means for Endavant FC Players

At Endavant FC, our vision is not simply to build competitive soccer teams.

We want to develop athletes who understand what it takes to succeed at higher levels of the game, while building the character and leadership skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

As a strategic advisor, Brian will help support three important areas of our development philosophy.

1. Elite Player Development

Brian will share insights from his professional and international playing experience to support our long-term development philosophy.

His perspective on high-performance environments, competitive expectations, and the demands of professional soccer will provide valuable strategic guidance as we continue building our organization.

2. Player Mentorship

One of the most exciting aspects of Brian's involvement is the opportunity to develop mentorship initiatives for our young athletes.

Through planned mentorship activities and interactions, players will have opportunities to learn about leadership, perseverance, discipline, confidence, and the mindset required to pursue ambitious goals.

Sometimes, hearing a message from someone who has competed at the highest levels can inspire a young athlete in ways that go far beyond the training field.

3. Strategic Guidance and Long-Term Vision

Brian will also provide strategic guidance as Endavant FC develops its elite player pathway in Northeast Houston.

His experience and understanding of Houston's soccer landscape will be valuable as we continue strengthening our development environment, building relationships, and creating meaningful opportunities for our players.

Why Northeast Houston? Why Endavant FC?

For Endavant FC founders Jennifer and Cesar Coronel, this project represents the next chapter of a journey that began in 2014 with the creation of JC Sports Houston.

What started as an indoor sports center for toddlers and young children grew into JC Sports Soccer Lab, Fall Creek Soccer Club, and eventually Villarreal Houston Academy through an international relationship with Villarreal CF in Spain.

Each step was driven by the same question:

How can we create better opportunities for the young athletes in our community?

Today, many talented players in Northeast Houston are seeking access to higher levels of competition and development.

We believe our community deserves more opportunities close to home.

That belief led to the creation of Endavant FC.

Our organization has submitted an application for the 2027–2028 MLS NEXT Academy Division, as we pursue the next level of competitive youth soccer in the United States.

While acceptance remains subject to league approval, our commitment to building a high-quality player-development environment is already underway.

Bringing Brian Ching into our advisory group is an important step in that journey.
